Setup

How to use LastClip.

LastClip runs in the Mac menu bar, keeps a short local replay buffer, and saves a clip only when you press your save shortcut or choose the save action. Clips stay local in your Movies folder unless you choose to share them.

Install flow.

Download the LastClip DMG, open it, drag LastClip to Applications, then launch it from Applications or Spotlight.

First save.

Grant Screen Recording permission, relaunch if macOS asks, let the buffer warm, then press your save shortcut or choose the save action. Clips save to Movies / LastClip.

Activate license.

Open LastClip from the menu bar, enter the checkout email and Lemon Squeezy license key, then choose Activate. LastClip stores the key in the macOS Keychain.

Change settings.

Open Settings to choose a replay length, change the global save shortcut, and enable or disable audio preferences. The selected replay length affects the next clip you save.

Find clips.

Use the recent clips list to reveal clips in Finder or delete local clips. You can also open the folder directly from Finder.

Troubleshooting.

If the shortcut does not save, confirm LastClip is running, the license is active, Screen Recording permission is enabled, and the buffer has had a few seconds to warm up.
